About The Event
I’m excited to be back on stage in the Detroit area and to perform at the One Night Stans Comedy Club & Bar Open Mic in Waterford Township.
As a German immigrant living in Michigan, a lot of my comedy comes from trying to understand American culture while also realizing how strange Germans can sound and behave in the Midwest. My sets usually move somewhere between personal storytelling, cultural confusion, marriage, queer life, body image, anxiety, nightlife, and whatever weird observation currently lives rent free in my brain.
One Night Stans has been an important room for comedians in Michigan for years, and I’m very happy to get stage time there. Open mics like this are where comedians sharpen material, experiment, fail publicly, and occasionally discover something actually funny.
