Freitag Special – Comedy Club Mannheim

Back in Germany and straight back on stage!

Fresh off the plane from the USA, I’m heading to Mannheim for the Freitag Special – Die Newcomer Show at the Comedy Club Mannheim.

After several years of performing stand-up in the United States, this is a chance to bring my German-American perspective back to a German stage — this time actually in German. Expect observations from life between Germany and the Midwest, migration, relationships, getting older, getting more American than planned, and the occasional realization that moving 4,000 miles away does not necessarily make you any less German.

The Freitag Special brings together experienced comedians and newer acts for an evening of live stand-up, with established material as well as jokes being developed on stage.

I’ll be fresh off the plane, probably slightly jet-lagged, and very much looking forward to doing German comedy in Mannheim.
