About The Event
From Michigan to Stuttgart — with a little jet lag in between.
After several years of performing stand-up in the United States, I’m back in Germany and getting some stage time in my native language again.
On Sunday, September 13, I’ll be performing at Comedy Bubbles at Banh Mi & Bubbles in the center of Stuttgart.
Comedy Bubbles is a regular Stuttgart Stand-Up Open Mic presented together with the makers of Comedy Clash Stuttgart and SWR3. Comedians from Stuttgart and across Germany use the stage to test new jokes and develop material in front of a live audience.
Which makes it a perfect place for me to figure out what happens when a German comedian who has spent the last few years developing his stand-up in the American Midwest comes home and switches back to German.
