About The Event
If you have seen me perform around Southwest Michigan, you already know this: Brewery Outré is my favorite brewery stage in Kalamazoo.
So, naturally, I’m coming back.
On Friday, August 28, I’ll be joining another lineup of comedians for Brewery Outré’s Outrégeously Funny Comedy in Kalamazoo. It’s one of those rooms I genuinely enjoy returning to: good beer, a smart crowd, great energy, and people who seem remarkably willing to listen to a German immigrant stand onstage and explain what he finds strange about America.
I still have not figured out whether the beer makes the comedy better or simply makes my accent easier to understand. Further research is necessary.
Expect a full night of live stand-up comedy with comedians from the Michigan comedy scene, plus my own observations about being German in America, marriage, Midwest life, cultural misunderstandings, and whatever else has confused me enough lately to turn it into…
